ELLIPTIC INFINITY LAMP

Based on Dr. Robert Lang's "Elliptic Infinity," this lamp is a combination of one complete ellipse and two ellipse segments. These elements were put together by aligning their ruling lines. The ruling lines inside the complete ellipse emanate from the lower focus. All ruling lines outside the ellipse emanate from the upper focus of the ellipse.

The lamp is made of a heat resistant polycarbonate sheet. It is assembled by the user interlocking the tabs in the back. A base is concealed within the lamp that houses two LED bulbs and adds weight to keep it in place on a furniture surface.
